The power of your mind is incredible. 

It's the most powerful muscle in your body, it controls everything that you do. 

I'm a huge believer in mind over matter. If you put your mind to something, you will achieve it. 

We need to feed our minds with the good stuff. If we feed the mind with positive thoughts, it's inevitable that we will have a positive life. 

The first step to think is to become conscious. Think about what you're thinking about - hear me out. 

What is that little voice in your head telling you all day? Notice it. Just become aware. 

Now, when I tell you to think about what you're thinking about, you probably 

a) think I'm crazy 

b) want to know how

It's easier said than done, since we spend the majority of our life living unconsciously. But, take a few moments to stop, imagine yourself sitting in a throne in your mind. And just witness the thoughts that are circulating - without any judgement. 

I'm not talking about your emotions, your emotions are thoughts. 
I want you to take note of the thoughts, words, beliefs that are reeling in your head. It's tricky, but it's well worth doing.

The next step is to reframe these thoughts into positive ones. I call it mental refurbishment. Think about what you're grateful for. Tell yourself something nice. Give yourself a compliment. 

For example, you may witness your thoughts tell you that you're not good enough to achieve your goal. You can reframe this. Tell yourself that you are absolutely capabale of achieving everything that you put your mind to. Even if you don't believe it. 

Remember, your thoughts are just a commentary of past experiences and other people's beliefs - you can create your own reality and before you know it, your thoughts will be just as encouraging.
