There is no shame in making mistakes
We all make them.
Small mistakes. Big mistakes. Medium mistakes.
Even Hannah Montana had a song named "everybody makes mistakes". If it's good enough for Hannah, it's good enough for me.
We spend so much time trying to avoid making mistakes, but we have to make mistakes to learn and there's no shame in that.
We also spend time replaying mistakes over and over again in our heads - even lose sleep over it. Animals don’t bask in their guilt at night, they’re practical. They keep moving forwards.
We can learn from them.
We can take our journey. Accept that mistakes will be made. Make the mistakes. Learn. Carry on. Maybe even make the mistake again. Learn. Carry on.
A mistake is just a mistake and nothing more than a mistake. It does not define you or your success. In fact, if you learn from it, it will help to enable your success.
I'd much rather take my journey, make some mistakes along the way and reach my goal instead of not even taking the journey in fear of making mistakes.
